ARTS BY THE SEA WINS TOURISM EVENT / FESTIVAL OF THE YEAR AT THE DORSET TOURISM AWARDS 24.

We are delighted to have been awarded ‘Best Festival/Event’ at the Dorset Tourism Awards for our 2022 edition of Arts by the Sea. 

Recognised as the best festival in Bournemouth, Arts By The Sea 2022 was then selected to compete across the region, so we are thrilled to have reached this stage of this award. We will now go on to compete at a regional level! 

For us this says everything about what Arts by the Sea is, a festival that reaches beyond the town centre of Bournemouth to celebrate the artistic talent, culture and landscape of Bournemouth; utilising a combination of local and global talent to reflect on an incredibly special region. 

In 2022 our curatorial theme was ‘PLAY’ and so it feels particularly poignant that it is this ABTS22 edition that has won this award. At From The Fields we are always looking to put the ‘art in party’ as a way of audiences connecting with the arts and we’re so pleased other people see the benefit of that too.

Of course, a successful event only comes from a successful partnership, and we’re delighted that this award highlights our partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Council, as well as Hot Shots marketing. A dream team if there ever was one!
