In 2019 From the Fields were approached by Joanna Young, Green Party Councillor & Chair of Trustees at the Foodbank and her brother, legendary singer-songwriter Frank Turner to produce a very special acoustic show for charity at Lancaster Ashton Hall.
The event sold out to an audience of 1000 almost instantly, and all proceeds from the event were donated to the Morecambe Bay Foodbank. The foodbank provides a vital service in distributing emergency food and hygiene items to people experiencing crisis in Morecambe and the surrounding area.
The event delighted Frank’s fans in the region, and raised over £14,000 for the Food Bank and had a combined digital & PR reach of 227,000.
